 Ain't no lecture tonight.  Here's the All class Missouri girls ratings as of last week.  I have not updated it for last weekend's games so there might be some adjustments after I enter some district scores.

 Updated 3/24/2022 Man, O, Man.  How about those Panthers of Annapolis, Missouri! I have nev/er seen a half like the first half of the South Iron and Stanberry Class One state championship game last night.  In what seemed like a close game early in the second quarter, the Panthers, behind Drenin Dinkins, exploded with 21 points to build a 20-14 game into a 41-20 route by half.  Dinkins, was on fire, hitting shots from 25 feet and driving into the lane for acrobatic floaters or dipsy-do layups.  It was literally the hot knife slicing through butter analogy.  Dinkins finished the first half with 29 of those 41 points, the second-most by a player in MSHSAA basketball history for one half. Gramps Pre-Season Prognostigations - The AAA Division I league

 Per my introduction, prognostications are based upon a mathematical equation that includes returning player VPS, defensive point differential, points allowed, and returnee scoring.  The result of this equation is an estimate of the winning percentage for this coming year. Included in the statistics are the projected overall record and estimated team rating.  Where indicated, I have listed the PrepHoops Missouri player rankings.  I do not try to assess player abilities.... you can get a great analysis at PrepHoops Missouri by Earl Austin Jr.   I work with statistics that predict future success.  For each team, I look at the players returning, their statistics coaching, past success, and why I think the model prediction is on target for this coming year.  Here's Coach Bennaka' plan to bring success back to the Smithville MO program.  It was well worth the couple of hours of analysis for his team to get this response.  Read it twice and then go DO IT.
